Fact

Call for Papers. Stories of migration. Seeking short stories 1000 to 5000 words. The inaugural issue of ‘The Impact Factor’ takes a different tack from the traditional scholarly journals by offering opportunities for a broader audience to frame future directions. The focused here is true stories, even stories that may have passed down. These stories will set the stage for future works based on the times and life of so many members of the Afro Caribbean diaspora whose life and worldviews begun from the migration experiences.

From these early stories, we anticipate the stage for the framing of TGIFA's focus on positive social interactions and change begins. Its impact both on those leaving and on those left behind are equally important. Sequential and at times migration stories affecting entire villages. These are true stories that may require verification. All stories will be archived, but only a selected amount be published in the first Journal edition of ‘The Impact Factor’ – A journal of Caribbean civil society. Special issue. Stories of Departure.
